CS2 flash lineups

CS2 flash lineups for entering a site, retaking it and winning a peek, on nine maps. See where to stand and aim, then throw the flash yourself and see where it pops.

What makes a good flash

A good flash pops in the defender's eyes and not yours: high enough to clear the wall, late enough that they cannot turn away. That is a lineup, the same as a smoke.

Pop flashes and entry flashes

Pop flashes go over a wall and burst the moment they appear. Entry flashes go ahead of the player taking the site. Both are listed for each map with where they are thrown from.

Practise the timing too

A flash is only good if somebody peeks behind it. Throw it, see where it pops, and repeat until the release is the same every time.

Questions

How do I throw a pop flash in CS2?

Throw it so it clears a wall or corner and bursts as soon as the enemy can see it. Learn one lineup per site from a fixed spot and aim point, so it pops in the same place every time.

How do I practise flashes in CS2?

Pick a flash lineup, watch where to stand and aim, then throw it yourself in SMOKEPRACTICE and see where it bursts. It runs in the browser on CS2 physics.
